These utilities were developed under APPX 4.0 on NT Server 4.0 Service Pack 3 & 4 with the Resource Kit. Please don't charge more than a nominal installation fee. This is freeware.

APPX Background Process Control on NT

Similar to the WANG VS Procedure Queue and Background Initiator Setup except that a single "initiator" can only handle one "class" of background process. Used to either force a sequential execution of many jobs in a single class or reduce the number of background processes that may be running simultaneously. CPU use too low to register if no jobs are "in the pipe".

FILEUSE and ForeGround Process Killer Utilities

Similar to the FILEUSE Utility that came with SPEED II used to find out who has what open.Foreground Process Killer is similar to WANG VS Interactive Task Control. Nuke APPX users from within APPX.

Email under Thin Client

Using the shareware program POSTIE, you can Email reports, etc, under APPX for Windows, thin client environment. Requires an SMTP connection for outgoing mail, and also supports NNTP, POP3, and IMAP4.
